Emma Carpenter

Emma Carpenter is a third-year pre-medicine student at UF majoring in biology with a minor in health disparities in society. Emma joined the Brusko Lab in Fall 2019 to assist with the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). She is currently involved in a project evaluating the therapeutic potential of modulating the CD226/TIGIT costimulatory pathway on regulatory T cells (Tregs) to improve the suppression of autoreactive T cells in Type 1 Diabetes (T1D).
