Seif Rashad Hanbali is a graduate of the University of Florida, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Cell Science. He previously worked with lysosomal storage diseases focusing on finding treatments and therapies for this debilitating genetic disease. After gaining experience in the field of medical research he transitioned into the Brusko Laboratory in order to broaden his knowledge and aid in curing Type 1 Diabetes.
He currently focuses on flow cytometry, laboratory maintenance and care, as well as processing organ tissue samples from HANDEL-I and nPOD. He aims to pursue a career in the field of medicine as a physician, and enjoys playing games, listening to all kinds of music, and watching superhero movies in his free time.
