Simi Ogundare is a graduate student who joined the Brusko lab in the spring of 2020. She is currently working on creation of immune cell repertoires to be used in an integrated islet-immune interface to interrogate genotype-phenotype and antigen specific interactions involved in Type 1 Diabetes pathogenesis. One of her current projects is to generate reporter constructs to be used in characterizing effector cell responses (activation, maturation, or skewing) in real-time.
