Xiaoru (Ruby) Dong joined the Brusko lab in 2019 to study single-cell genomics, biostatistics, and complexity and functional importance of these concepts in Type 1 Diabetes. Ruby successfully completed her doctoral defense in the Spring of 2024, investigating the longitudinal cytokine response and methylation profiles of patients in the TN19 trial.
