Juan Martin Arnoletti completed combined BS/MPH student at the University of Florida with a major in Microbiology (Spring 2022) and concentrating in Epidemiology (Spring 2023). Martin joined the Brusko lab in the Fall of 2019 as an undergraduate volunteer in the investigation of modulating the CD226/TIGIT costimulatory axis for Regulatory T Cell therapies in the treatment of Type 1 Diabetes. He has since transitioned to a Student Research Assistant, starting in the Summer of 2021 with a role in Flow Activated Cell Sorting, flow cytometry staining and acquisition, assistance with immunological assays, and investigation of animal models. In Fall of 2021, Juan Martin began an Undergraduate Honors Thesis investigating the impact of T-cell Receptor Alpha Chain knock-outs on the phenotype and avidity of genetically modified regulatory T cells.
Martin started the medical school program at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, in Fall, 2023.
